Henry Adams stocks a wide range of groceries, fruit and veg, sandwiches, confectionary and household goods.

W.Hurst and son in Union Street, about 5 minutes walk from the harbour. Suppliers of hardware and you can get your replacement gas bottles here.

Not more than 100 metres from the harbour is a collection of shops, locally known as Monkton Village.

Lock and Quay stocks a wide range of locks and some commonly needed chandlery items.
